Our School
Benedetto XV International School offers Early Years (Nursery and Kindergarten), Primary and Middle School programs. Our teachers are native English speakers and follow the British National Curriculum integrated with the guidelines of the Italian Ministry of Education. The school is located in the picturesque and historical setting of the Castelli Romani, more precisely in the center of the village of Grottaferrata. Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with multimedia classrooms, robotics and science labs, a gym and a theater. We also enjoy expansive outdoor spaces with dedicated playing areas for various age groups and large playgrounds for sports activities. The canteen is run directly by the school so the food is freshly prepared at every lunch.
Mission

Our aim is to ensure our pupils a future without cultural and linguistic limits, in an international environment in which teaching, communication and socialization are highly valued. We aim to provide students with an education that allows access to any type of path in secondary school and to universities both nationally and internationally.
Vision

Working together to break down cultural and linguistic barriers, we create an environment in which the Italy’s unique elements are added to internationally minded values. Our desire is to give our children an open outlook that allows them to become citizens of the world, to create great friendships and to have the ability to make new ones wherever they go. In summary, having the ability to express and argue their own opinions, while showing a deep understanding of cultural diversity.
Our Certifications

Multilingualism
It is scientifically proven that encouraging multilingualism from an early age allows children to develop academic and social skills more easily and helps them to open their way of thinking. Our curriculum includes Italian, English and other optional languages such as French and Spanish.

International environment
In today's society, it is no longer possible to be limited within the linguistic and cultural borders of one country. Although Italian culture continues to play a fundamental role, our students will receive an education that will allow them not only to be able to express themselves, but also to think and have a broader vision of the world.

E-learning
We believe that the ability to use computers and programming languages is fundamental. As such, we offer various e-learning opportunities aimed at enriching the skills of our students.

Motivation
While it is important to develop skills and concepts, it is equally essential to work on the emotional and motivational aspect of students. The teaching methods of our teachers, the numerous extracurricular activities and sports, group experiences indoor and outdoor, are all aimed at reaching this goal.
