Kindergarten
In addition to the activities introduced in Nursery in Kindergarten we focus on:
- Literacy development: encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write. Children are given access to a wide range of reading materials (books, poems, and other written materials) to develop their interest for reading and writing
- Mathematics: providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems; and to describe shapes, spaces, and measure
- Understanding the world: guiding children to develop understanding of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, technology and the environment
- Expressive arts and design: enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, as well as providing opportunities and encouragement for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play, and design and technology
A harmonious and international journey
At Benedetto XV, every day is a voyage of discovery, curiosity, and wonder. Here, children learn to read the world with new eyes, connecting sounds and letters to give life to words, dreams, and emotions. They count, explore, build, and solve small problems, discovering that mathematics is a joyful game of logic and imagination. They observe the world around them, learning to recognize nature, people, technology, and the value of the community that welcomes them.
Through colors, music, dance, and movement, they express what they feel inside, giving shape to their truest imagination.
At Benedetto XV, every child is guided to become their true self, step by step, with curiosity, creativity, and heart.
